Description:

White bellied bird with brown wings that have tan accents. When the bird took to the air it almost looked like it had blue on the underside of its wings that matches its face. In size, it seemed probably 16-18 cm long from head to tail.

This bird was picking its way through the grass around a canal amidst farmed fields in northern Thailand.
