Indigo Bunting

Passerina Cyanea


The Indigo Bunting is a member of the Cardinal family and is about the same size as a Cardinal. The males are a brilliant blue when seen in the sunlight. The female is a dull brown color.


This Indigo Bunting was eating seed under my bird feeder . This is in Upstate South Carolina.
