Red-headed Rock Agama

Agama agama

Habitat:

native to Africa, hot, arid, rocky terrain. Here in south FL there are a few populations in scattered pockets. One here at the botanical garden mostly on the buildings and rock walls or at the Madagascar arid exhibit.

Notes:

The males always make for good photos. There was also a juvenile on the same wall with it's equally colorful pattern.
