Description:

Yellow flowers of ray petals with a yellow center. Flowers are at the end of wiry stalks. Grows up to 18 inches tall. Leaves are usually found clustered at the base of the plant.

Habitat:

Georgia Piedmont. This specimen was found in a dry, sandier area than the surrounding moist woodland forest.
