Tree "Damaged" by Woodpeckers


I found it fascinating that the woodpeckers would "work" this tree to the extent that they have. It's amazing how they have sculpted it to look like a face...very talented woodpeckers in these parts :) This picture was taken in Cornwall Nature Preserve in South Paris, Maine
