Litchi Stink Bug

Tessaratoma javanica

Description:

Large brown and leathery looking

Notes:

At Mount Papandayan there were many of these, and they seemed to be attracted to the sulfur vents on the mountain. There were many dead ones that had apparently died from the sulfur fumes.

Can I use this photo for a dictionary (it will be an application). If so, who should I credit the photo to?
Thank you for your help.

Beautiful bug! This is actually a true bug in the order Hemiptera (further classified into suborder Heteroptera) and not a beetle (order Coleoptera).
