Very cute! I have three ferrets so weasel always reminds me of my ferret kids! Nice spotting!

I'm gonna say long-tailed weasel. The tail is more than half the head and body length, if it were shorter it would be a ermine/stoat/short-tailed weasel. Beautiful animal.

Well if it ever goes after your chickens, you might be able to satisfy it with a little cat food kibble. Cute friend!

well there was just too many rats for the little weasel, so i fixed most the rats. The weasel squeaks at me when ever i walk by the wood pile :) i think it likes me now!:) new friend ;)

I avoid poison; perhaps it's better even for your chickens to let the weasel do its job. And then you get to enjoy the weasel, too! Such pretty things.

I found that a group of rats had moved in under the chicken coup over the winter- so i feed them rate bait lately and it worked but now the ermine is bugging the chickens ! so far there all accounted for :)

If none of your chickens have gone missing, I'm guessing the ermine is eating the mice who are eating the grain that the chickens miss.

The weasel is white due to its winter coat. The ermine or short-tailed weasel is identifiable by its black tip on its tail which your photos show here.
