Take a look at the images of the False Black Widow: http://bugguide.net/node/view/6932/bgima... It may help you decide for or against our suggestion. I didn't know about them until Project Noah! :)

Maybe not a brown widow but a black widow. I couldn't get a shot of its belly. I don't think there was any red hourglass though, so I could see how it might be a false widow. I didn't know there was such a thing;0)

Now that you've added the egg sac images, I'd say it's definitely not a brown widow.

I thought the same thing when I saw it. Doesn't look like widow since it has no evidence of markings to identify it as such (red markings).
