Cannot see any evidence of spangling on the breast, so could it be a juvenile and not grown the tail yet? Although my book picture of the juv does not show long hairs either.

I'm thinking a Hair-crested Drongo (Dicrurus hottentottus) with a worn tail? Most subspecies have dark eyes.
