California Common Scorpion

Paruroctonus silvestrii

Description:

Small and slender scorpion about 7cm long from head to tip of tail. The mesosoma is dark brown and the prosoma is a medium brown like the legs and tail.

Habitat:

Attracted to the porch light to catch prey that falls to the ground at night. Oak woodland with lots of leaf litter.
