Water Hen

Description:

I think it is a water hen. They were in this pond thing at Southbank in Brisbane City. Why do they stand on one leg I wonder?

The dark background of your pictures give you very nice pictures. I think they stand on one leg at a time to warm their feet. I heard that somewhere.
