Description:

Slender spike of pale-green, waxy flowers; narrow leaves. Native temperate-zone orchid.

Habitat:

Moist soil of conifer forest around Trillium Lake, a 240-acre man-made lake on the south slopes of Mt. Hood. Mid-mountain elevation (about 3600 feet) in the northern Oregon Cascades. Shade to filtered sunlight.
