Description:

Identified by its red pronotum, black segmented antenna, body and elytra (though many individuals will have light colored lines on their elytra).

Habitat:

Spotted on wildflowers at the Falcon Lake State Park butterfly garden in south Texas. It's found in the Tamaulipan bushlands of South Texas and Mexico.
