Description:

A medium sized lichen-encrusted tree with pink flowers borne on long, slender stems. Pod-like structures were also seen.

Habitat:

This tree was spotted enroute Baratang island.. I saw the pretty flowers on the ground and shot the tree even with the sun against me.

Notes:

Also known as Fish-killer tree, Fish-poison tree, Fish-poison wood, Freshwater mangrove, Small-leaved barringtonia.
