Bombycilla cedrorum
Cedar Waxwings are pale brown on the head and chest fading to soft gray on the wings. The belly is pale yellow, and the tail is gray with a bright yellow tip. The face has a narrow black mask neatly outlined in white. The red waxy tips to the wing feathers are not always easy to see. Cornell Lab

They are still flying all around my neighborhood making their tinkling vocals.
Thanks! I was amazed to see the red tips on the wings & it was fun to watch them feasting on Sabal palmetto berries.
Incredible shots. Just perfect.
Great pics. I got to see some once as they were traveling through North Texas. Stunning birds.

stunning!
Excellent spotting
Thanks all...they have just now arrived on Siesta Key. People in other locations have been seeing them for awhile.
very nice series!
Wonderful series!
Love these birds. I've only seen them once in my yard in 20 years time.
They've always been one of my favorites. Are you surprised too at how long they've lingered in Florida this year?
I really like these shots as they show the smooth plummage and beautiful colours of these flocking birds and also a look into their feeding habits. Thanks for sharing.
