Description:

Brown and gold fly. The wings are dark on the front half then fade clear toward the back. They also have spots. There is white just behind the eyes and it has a long proboscis. This fly mimics a bee.

Habitat:

Sandy gravel of trail at Blue Sky Ecological Reserve
