Eucalyptus Scale Gall

Apiomorpha munita

Description:

The first two photos are of dry galls, but the last photo is green and probably fresher. The insect may still be alive within it.

Habitat:

Churchill National Park. Spotted on an eucalyptus tree.

Notes:

Help, Leuba... Is this also a Four-horned gumtree gall Apiomorpha munita? http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/882... I can't remember what you said!
