Description:

A moth of the family Noctuidae. Its wings are colored white through several shades of green. The larva is dark grey with a greenish tinge and feeds on various lichen The wingspan is 24–30 mm. The larvae feed on various Lichen species.

Habitat:

Spotted at an evergreen oak and pine tree forest

I see what you mean Arlanda ,the underwing pattern is right ,the colour is right ,but those furry legs do not match ,so I am a bit stumped .Perhaps an expert can put us straight.

I think it is a Red-green Carpet----- Chloroclysta siterata .Because of the unusual pose I can't be 100% ,but I am fairly sure.
