Selene vomer

What an unusual fish. These are lookdowns at the Tulsa Aquarium. They almost seemed see through with the lighting they had in their tank. A very metallic fish and an older one, fist described by science in the 1700s.

Native to the western Atlantic from Canada, and Maine south to Uruguay, including Bermuda and the Gulf of Mexico
