Prunus spinosa is a large shrub or small tree with blackish bark and dense, stiff, spiny branches. The leaves are oval, flowers are with five creamy-white petals and they are produced before leaves in spring.

Am not sure about this one; but I would bet on Prunus gender... can it be Prunus prostrata? Spreading cherry (or mountain or rock cherry)? Hope you find it.
