Epidesmia chilonaria
This smooth triangular moth with a wing span of about 40 mm was a pale brown with dark costa and a dark brown line across both fore wings. The submarginal areas were slightly darker and had a row of dark spots. Each fore wing showed at least three diagonally placed small dark brown smudges. The underside of the moth was pale. labial palps were dark, short and held forward. Pale antennae held under wings.
Spotted in a nature reserve.
