Description:

Family: Erebidae, Subfamily: Arctiinae, Tribe: Arctiini (Tiger Moths). Length: 24-37 mm. Wingspan: 70 mm. Black FW with fine cream-colored border and stripes along veins. W-shaped ST line touches slightly kinked PM line. AM line meets costa at a right angle. Red HW is boldly marked with black spots in media and terminal areas. (Common) Some kind of secretion on head.

Habitat:

Woodlands. Came to light.
