Description:

Plant reasonably large for Genus: 6 cm<; Mostly green-yellow; stems with dense redish tomentum; leaves 10:1 or greater in length; leaf cells strongly pitted and prorate.

Habitat:

exposed rocky outcropping in douglas fir forest. Associated with Racomitrium canescens and white fawn lily (Erytronium oregonum).

Notes:

possibly rare in Washington State.
