Description:

Another variation of this huge genus of brightly colored jewel beetles. This orange one has a complex pattern of black bands and spots.

Habitat:

Found on flowering tea tree in the Australian desert.

Thanks Ranger Leuba. There are more than 400 species listed on EOL for Castiarina and we have a long way to go. They are probably sometimes specific for plant type.
