Cladonia coniocraea
Thallus is squamulose, green to grey green, forming large and dense patches on decaying logs. Podetia grey-green, slender, tapering to a point or terminating in a very narrow cup no wider than the podetium; apothecia not seen.
Found on a fallen and decaying logs discarded on forest floor of a lowland broadleaved forest (oak and beech), and on tree stumps, in Geneva lake valley.
