Zigzag Spiderwort

Description:

Found in moist to dry forests of mid and north Georgia. Up to 3 feet tall. Flower clusters are about 1 inch wide with 3 blue, purple, or lavender petals. Flowers May to September.

Habitat:

Located on the Indian Springs State Park Overland Nature Trail. Several clumps of these flowers and Virginia Spiderwort can be seen blooming on the first portion of the trail.
