It's always a relief to find a common lichen, especially since I hurt for fungi spotting and the ones I have I cannot identify. I need more mycologist friends haha. Common greenshield lichen is all over the place here in Kansas, you can't walk past a tree that isn't covered in it. It and Xanthoria parietina.
Found throughout the US.
