Lepilemur hubbardorum
Medium-sized with long tails - although all I could see was big eyes and a 'hand'..Sportive lemurs are strictly nocturnal and predominantly arboreal, moving among the trees with long jumps powered by their strong hind legs. Although nocturnal, they are most often seen in the day peering dozily out of their tree holes or concealed forks in branches.
On the ground, they hop similarly to the kangaroo. During the day they hide in leafy covering or tree hollows.

"Look carefully or you might miss it! This Hubbard's Sportive Lemur (Lepilemur hubbardorum) is our Spotting of the Day. Sportive lemurs (family Lepilemuridae) are closely related to other lemurs, and are found exclusively on the island of Madagascar. This species is restricted to dry transitional forests in the southwest of the island, and is classified as Endangered by the IUCN. The future looks bleak for Hubbard's sportive lemur. A study published in 2015 found that expected changes in temperature and rainfall across Madagascar may affect the ranges of 60% of the 57 species of lemur examined over the next 70 years, and that Hubbard's sportive lemur could be one of three lemur species to lose all of its habitat by 2080. I have corrected the scientific name for you.The original name L. hubbardi was found to be incorrectly formed and was corrected to L. hubbardorum in 2009.
