Ileodictyon cibarium
Spherical latticed fungus about 150mm (6") across. Lattice work is tubular white flesh. The spore mass is dark slimy and smells quite unpleasant.
Found in Koutu Park in the town of Cambridge in New Zealand. Was growing in mulch put down under specimen trees.
In this species the basket is detachable from the main body of the fungus allowing the wind to blow it and aid spore dispersal.
