Leaf Footed Bug

Acanthocephala declivis

Description:

A small greyish bug, with remarkably wide, leaflike back legs and a horny spined black. It likes to fly and jump fairly long distances. The body is about the length of a quarter.

Habitat:

Wetland forest, found about 4' up on some leafy branches.

Based on the coloration and hind leg shape, I'd go with Acanthocephala declivis

I want to know what these guys are too! We have them here in Colorado! They are pretty docile. I find them in my house from time to time and just throw them outside!

The first shot is wonderful! They kind of have cute faces...
