Handroanthus Billbergii

Habitat:

Dry rocky chaparrel at elevations up to 500 metres in Venezuela. Dry coastal forests, thickets in the Caribbean Islands.

Striking yellow explosions through out the island at this time. (should have taken a few flower close-ups). Note: seems to have been classified as (Tabebuia Billbergii) also. Another common name seems to be "Yellow Poui".
