Description:

A species that hunt by ambush. Prefers still water (lentic), giving up very well in lakes and ponds, but is present in the rivers steadily, reaching predominantly in the backwaters of this. Has a cylindrical body and elongated, as a torpedo. Presents slight color and may, depending on environmental factors, the same individual significantly change the tone from the course as well as sand, lead to a very dark and marbled, was particularly clear and sunny when in environments with clean sand to the bottom. Some geographical varieties have green eyes beautifully, others red, others, or indistinct gray, etc...........

Habitat:

Places of standing water and abundant aquatic vegetation. Pieces of wood, fallen logs, cans are a great hiding place for traíras. In the coldest months are buried at the bottom to support the low water temperature.
