Spotting

Description:

He's a giant stick insect, but I'd love to know what his real name is, and whether he is a different species to the garden variety, "normal"-sized stick insect.

Habitat:

I've witnessed one before in Sydney, Australia, but this one is from far north Queensland, Australia. Up here the climate it wet tropics.
