Dark Wanderer

Pareronia ceylanica

Description:

The Dark Wanderer Pareronia ceylanica is a medium sized butterfly of the Family Pieridae, that is, the Yellows and Whites, which is found in South and South-east Asia.

Notes:

Not sure if I have seen this butterfly in my garden before. It came flying through after sunset when it was already quite dark, and landed for 30 secs before flying off, hence the quality of the photo is poor. Hopefully some one can ID it from this. The upper wing seemed to be a light bluish green.
