This is a male Blue metalmark butterfly. The underside is seen in pic 3. They have a small wingspan of 2.2 to 3.2 cm (0.87 to 1.26 in). Greenish eyes.
Spotted nectaring on flowers at the Resaca De La Palma State Park butterfly garden.
