Coastal San Diego front yard palm tree. Yard also includes lantana and various other flowering shrubs.

Looks more Selasphorus-type to me with the long, decurved bill. In your location it should be Allen's (Selasphorus sasin), but like Cindy said, not an easy ID.

Great spotting! It's difficult to say which species this is without the color but the pattern seems correct for Anna's!
