An unidentified (short-horned) grasshopper, an insect of the suborder Caelifera in the order Orthoptera.
Spotted in a large semi-urban yard & garden situated next to a disturbed patch of remnant lowland forest. This is in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
