Trachemys scripta elegans
Native to the southern United States. Fresh water, clear with current. Mostly aquatic, only leaving the water to bask in the sun and lay eggs.
Spotting found basking on the sun.
They are both male, you can tell by their long front claws.
Nice spotting, love the difference in the shell colors. Male and female?
Moved to the category Reptiles :-)
Thank you for the support! I think this was the best spotting of today's trip.
