Palm Warbler

dendroica palmarum

Description:

These birds traveled in a group of about 20. I observed them eating small winged insects. I believe this to be a male. Females had same pattern and colors, but considerably duller.

Habitat:

wetland habitat

Notes:

These birds proved difficult to photograph as they are on the move constantly. They seem to be sexually dimorphic, males bright color, females dull in color.
