Orange Rock Agama

Agama kaimosae

Description:

Large agama whose male has orange body and tail, and bluish legs.

Habitat:

Rock outcrops in eastern Serengeti short-grass plains.

Notes:

In central Serengeti, the pink-headed Agama mwanzae is found, and its range extends quite far east, but it does not seem to inhabit the same rock outcrops as A. kaimosae.
