Small long legged fly with black and white striped metalic abdomen
Just noticed it landing on a plant in my garden today. This is the first one I can remember seeing this year so far. Usually see a number of different types of these this far into Spring. Probably something to do with the very dry weather we've had in the Sydney Metro area of late
