Betel is a tropical Asian/Oceanic climbing vine. (It's growing in my yard). I am guessing it couldn't tolerate cold temperatures...What kind of plant was it?

Anytime... but its just a leaf, so i could be wrong as well... maybe a bit more information on the whole plant might help confirm it... :-)

PS: over here, we consume it after meals, with a bit of Areca nuts.. ;-)
