Length : ~1.1cm Season : Rainy season Time : 4.30pm 30Aug2021 Frequency : very rare Life stage : adult

Habitat:

Spotted inside the car parking very close to open abandoned area with lot of plants

Notes:

Must be shield bug from Scutelleridae family. Looks like Chrysocoris purpureus? Experts confirmation is needed. Thanks in advance!

I see the comments are deleted by Võ Anh Tuấn, but reference has few interesting points (https://www.semanticscholar.org/paper/RE...) only Scutellum matches to c. andamanensis but pronotum not matches to any of them. BTW, this paper is not validated properly by authors before being published. Pronotum pic - 3e missing; 3g & 3h are swapped. But this paper has got pretty good information. Thanks for sharing.
