Photo take at home by the garden found this strange beetle, as sun it detect me make it´s self like a ball and stay like that playing dead at least by 1 hour I wait for it to move, till i get tire and left. About 1cm.

We probably have this species in our collection at UC Berkeley. One of our former entomologists was an expert on long-horned beetles from Mexico. Unfortunately, he passed away a few years ago, and I don't know this family well enough to narrow it down further. I'll let you know if I can find out any more about what species it might be.

Cool beetle Gerardo! The best ID I can give here is that it's a long-horned beetle, Family Cerambycidae. How big was it?
