It is a small bird with brown and white wings with a distinct yellow belly.The bird was probably a Male because it has a mohawk and is smaller than the females.

The slight yellow on the belly indicates an Eastern Phoebe too.Lovely!

Beautiful bird! I think you have an Eastern Phoebe here.
Spinus xanthogastrus has a much heavier bill and is black with yellow markings. Additionally, I don't believe that Spinus xanthogastrus is found in North America. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow-bel...
