I can't see the eyes, or the beak properly, so I can't identify it. I had a Carolina wren nest in a box under our carport. It was cool watching the babies grow up. If you can get some better photographs I may be able to help.
I just got scratched by a baby one yesterday at Aiken State Park.
Forest dragon, that's not entirely accurate. Juvenile box turtles are often found in shallow water. I saw one in a spring fed lake yesterday. Looks like it's in pretty deep though, so probably not a box turtle.
It's outside the EBT range, but since it looks like it's in water, and not just to soak (misconception about any box turtle is you won't find them in water), I'm going with EBT. I could be wrong. The pictures are kind of blurry, though.
I would say "terrepene carolina carolina" but the dome is too rounded. Right area for it, but I am pretty sure someone released a pet integrate.
