Sadly this beautiful young Crowned Eagle was shot and killed by a hooligan with a pellet gun soon after it left its nesting area. The police are investigating but no arrests have been made yet.

Hi LealikiKanoa - there is a feeding station for wild dolphins at Novo Airao, so excellent views are assured at feeding times. However both the Pink and Grey dolphins were very commonly encountered throughout the area during boat trips on the river.
