Is this from a zoo or a reserve? Please specify with name, because I haven't seen captive reds anywhere in Cali. (It's captive because there's a tag on the right leg) Amazing shots too!

Could be an albino Horned Grebe, or an immature Ross' Goose. Cant tell though.
I would've said Merlin or Northern Harrier, but looking at the tail and size, yeah it's a juvenile red tail.
Wow. That's pretty cool. Never seen a fish so alike to an amphibian. Cant tell you if its one or the other but looks alot more like a fish.
The leaves look like mint but I can't be sure...
