The hive now in spring (first set of three photographs) obviously survived the winter (second set of three photographs)
hatching day, today the eggs hatched, must have been a couple of hours ago, the hatchings are moving away from the egg sacks at quite a rate. Some hatchlings are not moving while others are moving at 3 body lengths every couple of seconds

Actually not so sure about the species I'm trying to follow this guide to get a better idea.

Thanks StevenSpragg, interesting that the web site describes it as a threatened Tasmanian species, I wonder if its threatened in SA?
JuanDiTrani, I think your'e correct, they have the same structure and method of locomotion,so far can't find the species
