I'm pretty sure that's a female, they lay orange eggs. I see their Atlantic cousins all the time in North Carolina :]

He seems pretty healthy to me, he's here at least once a week. I think he's just comfortable in this environment, he completely ignores us. I think someone in the neighborhood might be feeding him and encouraging this behavior.

Thank you! I've heard of attacks, but from my experience they either run away or ignore people. Usually though we see them at dawn or dusk, this was taken mid-afternoon!

Hemidactylus frenatus perhaps? It almost looks like a mini tokay gecko...
